Elizabeth D. is our HR manager of talent acquisition, and she’s also this month’s Eclipse California MVP! Prior to joining us, she worked in HR at a few small to midsize companies in industries including healthcare, marketing, and financial services. Her areas of expertise include compliance, best practices, and policy and procedure development. She’s also our lead recruiter, coaching and building the skills needed to achieve in our industry.
Elizabeth joined Eclipse California in 2018 from Boost Health Insurance, where she wore several HR-related hats. She graduated from Webster University with a bachelor’s in business management and leadership and is currently working on her MBA with an emphasis in Finance.
When she’s not working, we find Elizabeth tearing up the dance floor (though she claims to have two left feet), watching football (Niners, baby!), and spending time with her family. She also likes to cook from scratch and often brings yummy treats into the office. She travels whenever she can, and on almost any given Sunday we can find her hiking somewhere in Southern California. Her future goal is to continue driving our company goals by finding the best and brightest talent to join our team.
Elizabeth’s favorite quote comes from John Lennon, and it’s an inspiration to us all. Lennon said, “When I was five years old, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy.’ They told me I didn’t understand the assignment. I told them they didn’t understand life.” It’s evident that Elizabeth has embraced this mind-set in her life, and we are grateful every day to have her on our team.
